As the Associate Director Global Medical Information, I am responsible for managing the day-day Medical Information activities for Australia, Canada and Europe (ACE) and provide adhoc support for the US and Intercontinental Regions. Responsible for working with local markets to set up and implement vendor support for the Medical Information Service in the ACE region. Following set up of the Medical Information vendor support I am responsible for providing oversight of the current service, implementing processes, and improving efficiencies as the service evolves; managing expansion of regions, ensuring training of vendor staff, and performing quality checks to ensure expectations are met and exceeded. Working in a small team I am responsible for the overall handling of Medical Information Requests (MIRs) in the ACE region, providing support to the vendor in creating custom content to respond to complex enquiries. Involved in overall content creation and transformation for the medical information service. Responsible for quality checking responses to MIRs and working to constantly improve the overall quality and efficiencies within the team. Responsible for providing training to the local teams and updating internal working documents to optimise processes enhancing the customer experience. In addition to my core responsibilities, I provide ad hoc support with priority deliverables across the overall Global Medical Information function.
