Senior Software Developer  - As a freelancer

Lisbon, Portugal

January 2017 - June 2017 (5 months)

After being in part-time with Maciv, by my own choice, I've started building software as a freelancer. All of the websites I've built were using mainly Laravel 5.4, and PHP 5. A list of the websites I've built is listed below: http:// All of these websites were built with a partnership(saying this way) with Task4it, for task4it clients.

Maciv Tecnologias Ltda

Software Developer

Torres Vedras, Portugal

May 2016 - January 2017 (8 months)

The company main objective is SaaS, in this case, social networks. Since day 1 I've joined Maciv, I was the Systems administrator, and software developer. My work in this role was mainly creating new features, bug fixing, and maintaining social networks for several clients. One of the company's best social network back then was the social network for Ronaldinho Gaucho, the Brazilian football player. Besides building social networks, after half year inside the company, I started being in charge of the company's internal tools, such like servers monitoring software(Built with Laravel for the web app, C# for the server sided APP), Analytics software(Creation of modules, templates, etc., for a free platform named, back then, piwik), a bug tracking website, etc. Created as well, a little software(prototype), to store huge quantities of images and videos inside a server, and maintain a fast access speed to the resources in the server. After 1.7TB of media stored, the software can still load the content with delays below 700ms. This software was written in javascript @NodeJS.

Date a Home Ltd

Software Developer

London, UK

June 2015 - April 2016 (10 months)

This was a remote position. As a junior software developer, my first role in Date A Home was to build a wordpress template with plugins, while giving assistance to the senior developer of the company. After the senior software developer left the company, I was the person responsible for the whole project. This project consisted in building a "unique" real state website, which would connect people to the houses in a "relationship" feeling, instead of the regular websites. The project started being built in Slim Framework, with the usage of PHP 5.6, however after laravel had a stable release of the version 5.0, the whole project was migrated to Laravel before release. The whole project was then built in PHP 5.6 with Laravel 5.1, with API's for social authentication(Facebook, Google Plus, Linked In), google maps for the location of the properties with a map showing on the left side of the screen, with a list of the properties and their information on the right side of the screen. (A bit like AirBNB). The server stack was LAMP, using Apache, PHP and MySQL, and the server operating system was Ubuntu 14.04. While working for this company has the software developer, I was, as well, the systems administrator, since the E-mail service, the whole stack, website configuration, etc. was completely configured / managed / installed by me.
