Daniel in a few words

Hi, I'm Daniel, a content designer (or UX writer if you prefer, I won’t judge) with bags of experience (8 years in fact) crafting excellent experiences to connect you and your products to your users.

I have a positive outlook, excellent writing skills (naturally), native English proficiency, (you get me, mate), and a collaborative mindset that’s allowed me to work successfully freelance, agency, or in-house, in London, Berlin and Stockholm.

My latest project has been working as the lead content designer on the checkout experience at Klarna in Stockholm as well as leading localization efforts.

Some more recent experience:

- Training product designers and providing content guidelines and a content strategy for a leading audiobook brand
- Improving subscription and onboarding at the Wall Street Journal
-.Leading a rebrand for a London-based digital agency.
- As well as data-driven, tactical content design work.
- And much more....

My approach to creating greatexperiences for customers is utilising design thinking and best practice UX writing to solve problems through research, ideation, and of course creation for solutions that place users front and centre. Everything I do is backed by research and insights and my years of experience in the field. I also love to guide stakeholders through my process to ensure buy-in at all levels from design to the board room.

I've freelanced since 2018 and in that time I've worked on a whole host of different projects for diverse brands in various verticals. I'm sure there's something relevant in my experience for your next project so feel free to reach out to talk more – I look forward to hearing from you!

HOUSE OF KAIZEN

UX Writer

London, UK

July 2017 - June 2018 (11 months)

Crab Creative

Digital & IT

Copywriter / UX writer

Shoreditch, London, UK

December 2014 - July 2017 (2 years and 7 months)

In my role as a copywriter/UX writer at Crab Creative, a London-based, full-service digital design agency, I wrote copy and devised campaigns, primarily in digital media, including: articles, websites, blog posts, social media campaigns, media, and beyond. It was a small, fast-paced environment where I had the opportunity to dig into various roles and roll my sleeves up to turn work around quickly in a tight-knit, creative agency environment. I discovered a lot about UX and design thinking and this is where I gravitated towards content design as my sole focus.
