Kanika in a few words
Illustrator and Fashion Designer
Highly motivated and skilled Fashion Designer and Illustrator, extremely passionate about creating illustrations (fashion), designing company profiles, making digital and hand prints and storytelling and designing the DNA of a brand. My other skills include making mood boards, style boards, technical packs/ specification sheets, cost sheets, logo design, making brochures, catalogs, business cards, making excellent business presentations with an appealing and excellent layout, designing the prototypes of mobile applications.
The softwares that I am good with include Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Character Animator, CorelDRAW, Microsoft Office and Keynote.
With my bachelors in Apparel Design, specialising in Knitwear in NIFT (India) during 2012-2016, I gained a good understanding in fashion creation, but I also acquired strong interest in illustration after using softwares like Illustrator, InDesign and CorelDRAW. Then, I enrolled in a postgraduate program in ESMOD, Paris pursuing my interest in International Fashion & Luxury Brand Management.
This is pretty much the summarised version of what I have acquired during all these years. And I definitely hope to learn a lot more with the next few years of my experience.
