Melanie Batten

A strategic and operational HR professional with experience in HR Transformation, Operations, Organisational Design, Project Management, Learning and Development. She is experienced in defining and supporting the HR Ops model and strategy taking into account organisational effectiveness, setting up HR shared services including a HR Service Management suite, process reengineering and streamlining, HR data, analytics & KPI’s, HR reporting, project management, L&D frameworks, business partnering and stakeholder management.

Most recently, Mel was the People Experience Systems Lead for the Travis Perkins and Holborn Group separation (4000 colleagues). Previously, she was the Head of HR for technology firm Nagra Kudelski and AFMESA - Senior BP in Dubai for Travelport. Mel has held several HR roles with different employers including Glaxosmothkline, Bell Pottinger, ARUP, Airports and the NHS. Mel started her people and culture experience in the Middle East.
