Michael in a few words

I’ve ten years design experience, most recently as a Senior UX designer & Accessibility Lead for Asda, one of the UK’s leading online grocery retailers.

I pride myself on my ability to evaluate and quickly adapt to new situations and new information, communicate and collaborate well with colleagues, present ideas and give solid reasoning for my suggestions.

My portfolio demonstrates my ability to understand user needs and product requirements and then creatively overcome unique and often complex problems, transforming big ideas into simple but engaging user-centric interfaces.

In any project I would expect to be accountable for a combination of any number of activities such as research, flows, storyboards, wireframes, interaction designs and completed designs, all incorporating accessibility requirements. I would expect to confidently present, influence, project manage my own work, manage expectations and work to deadlines.

At the heart of my creativity is a curiosity for continuous improvement.
