For a few years before this, I was a freelance Product Manager and Coach helping some incredible teams deliver great value. Some roles are very tactical, some roles are about setting up the 3 key product tools within the team (vision, roadmap, objectives) and some are ofcourse more detailed roles lasting many months and requiring more business knowledge.
As a coach, I employ a T-shaped approach: I coach the leadership on how to empower their teams to deliver the business goals and I also work hands-on with the product teams to improve their delivery. I don't use a one-fits-all approach at my clients. I've worked in multiple countries with vastly different cultures so I like to spend time observing what is going on with the organisation, and then working hands-on with the organisation to improve the delivery in an iterative way. This way, they can learn and help themselves after I've left.
As a PM part of the delivery team, it's all about understanding what problems need solving and then understanding what success looks like. I like to understand what the business goals are; look at the team setups, skillsets and ways of working. And then help the teams to devise roadmaps, experimentation strategies and work mathematically and realistically to achieve the goals whilst having an open and honest dialogue with the leadership.
My strengths lie in open and transparent stakeholder comms, working with tech, analytics and design to build amazing products in the most optimised way. I'm super self-motivated, driven and delivery-focused.
