Communications Coordinator
In addition, I wrote a social media strategy for the Global Food Safety Initiative’s (GFSI) Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter accounts, and have been running the account for a year and a half. This has included implementing both paid and unpaid marketing campaigns, the creation of a LinkedIn page that garnered over 10,000 followers in 11 months, and doing monthly social media/website monitoring and reporting.
I have also been heavily involved in the communications and marketing strategies around the annual GFSI Conference, promoting the conference on social media (through both paid and unpaid campaigns), on the website, and through email marketing campaigns.

Education
-
Bachelor's of the Arts in English Literature
Hamilton College
2018 My time at Hamilton College was mainly spent reading, learning literary theory and fine-tuning my writing skills. Hamilton is a very writing-focused college, even for those studying subjects that generally don't require a lot of writing, such as Mathematics, so as a Literature major I generally wrote 10 papers or more each semester. We also focused on other types of writing other than purely academic, such as writing blog posts and articles.

Master's of the Arts in Global Communications
The American University of Paris
2020 For this degree, I studied both the practical side of communications (i.e, learning to write press releases, create buyer profiles, social media targeting, etc), and the more conceptual side of communications theory. I also took several international relations courses, and wrote ~10 long form (25+ page) research papers.
