Oray in a few words
Oray is a photographer of Nigerian heritage based in the Midlands. With years of creative curiosity and dedication, Oray is emerging to become a respected name within the UK and international Afrobeat music scene.
Born in south London, Oray spent her younger years submerged in the creative arts; with her background as a dancer, progressing into film studies and eventually discovering her love for photography, she always knew that her purpose was to bring creative ideas to life. She has created her own original style, shown in her emotive way of capturing moments and her ability to use heavy contrasted tones with pops of colour in her photography.
Recognised as a key contributor to the Afrobeat photography scene Oray has worked closely with numerous artists including Adekunle Gold, Fireboy, Asake and more. Her constant desire to continue to capture classic moments within the growing scene is allowing her to make a true impact for fellow female photographers, making her an influential figure to look out for.
