Rhona Postma

Hi, I'm Rhona. I graduated with first-class honours in Graphic Design (BDes Hons) at Edinburgh Napier University. During my studies, I worked on a variety of projects ranging from branding, editorial, experiential and animation to name a few. Throughout my studies, I have been shortlisted for the Creative Conscience Awards and gained membership to the highly prestigious International Society of Typographic Designers (ISTD) through their rigorous student assessment scheme. In addition to my studies I have worked freelance (4 years +), I have worked on a variety of exciting projects as well as built strong relationships with clients. In addition to the physical, creative side I have extensive knowledge regarding Art History, Iconology & Form, Semtiocs and Hermeneutics (I also keep up to date with various design trends, read design-based books and conduct extensive research when tackling briefs.

I am currently studying for a Master's in Creative Advertising (MSc), so I now can create strategies, briefs, campaigns and copywriting.

My approach to work is to find key insights, problems and propositions. It is important to have a balance between what needs to be done rather than what I want to do/deliver. I take a great deal of care and make sure to thoroughly research brands, and demographics to ensure my designs hit the target audience and market. I always strive to provide the highest possible quality as well as ensure customer satisfaction throughout the full process.
