Zaynab in a few words

I have started my career journey in teaching and have acquired excellent skills in mentoring and coaching.

Soon after that I have acquired vast experience of working in multiple data fields.

I was a product owner and a reference database manager. In this role I managed two offshore teams and worked globally with teams refining requirements for products for the company. In addition to that I was coaching colleagues on new tools and products as well as creating and managing dashboard illustrating data integrity.

I have started working in the banking industry after, where I have been exposed to a variety of different areas because of the nature of the role. I have worked in data management where I was responsible for identifying and defining critical data elements. This involved travelling around to data centres and analysing systems and data storage and critical processes requirements. I currently focus on internally auditing different portfolios within the bank to ensure compliance. My main focus is on data analytics and the use of a number of technical tools to aid audit testing. I have used tools like process mining to create insights from audit testing. Additionally, I am the powerbi teaching champion in the department and have delivered over 15 training sessions to the entire function in internal audit.
