Freelancer doing a tech training

What is a tech training?

Tech training, often referred to as a bootcamp, is an immersive learning experience designed to equip individuals with in-demand tech skills. Training providers like Le Wagon offer comprehensive courses in web development, data science & AI, growth marketing and more, empowering participants to thrive in today's digital landscape.

Benefits of a tech training:

  • Practical learning: Gain hands-on experience with real-world projects, enhancing your skills and credibility as a freelancer.
  • Expert support: Receive guidance from industry professionals, empowering you to overcome challenges and excel in your freelance career.
  • Community connection: Join a vibrant network of tech enthusiasts, fostering collaboration and opening doors to new opportunities.
  • Flexible options: Le Wagon offers part-time or full-time, in-person or online courses, allowing you to balance training with your freelance commitments.
  • Earning potential: Master in-demand skills to command higher rates in the freelance market, diversifying your client base and unlocking new projects.

Why is it beneficial to freelancers?

For freelancers, investing in tech training can be a game-changer. Not only does it enhance your skillset and marketability, but it also enables you to take on high-paying tech projects and expand your client base. By staying ahead of the curve with the latest tech trends, freelancers can future-proof their careers and remain competitive in the ever-evolving gig economy.

Financing your tech training

At Malt, in collaboration with Le Wagon, we believe in making tech education accessible to all. Le Wagon offers a variety of financing options tailored to your needs:

  • Exclusive Malt discount - Le Wagon is also granting Malt freelancers an exclusive discount on their courses.
  • Upfront Payment: Students can opt to pay the full tuition balance in one go, and receive a 5% discount on their fees. Or, as an alternative, students can split their tuition payment into a £2,000 deposit, then pay the remaining balance a week before the bootcamp starts.
  • 6 or 12 Month Instalment Plan: Students can choose to pay a deposit and, once their bootcamp begins, start paying the remaining balance in 6 or 12 equal monthly instalments.
  • Tuition Fee Loan: Students can spread their repayments over 2 – 10 years with a traditional loan, with a 7-12% interest rate depending on their circumstances.
  • Future Earnings Agreement (FEA): Our students have the option to begin paying their tuition fees once they have landed a job earning more than £24k annual income. Also, interest rates apply.

Eligibility criteria and terms apply to all of the above. Consult Le Wagon’s local financing options page to find out the full financing scope and which options are available to you.
