Responsible for design and development of bespoke equipment for remote intervention activities for multiple industry sectors, developing initial concepts into functional prototypes and commercialised products. Experienced in the full product lifecycle including 3D modelling in multiple CAD programs, producing detailed manufacturing drawings, performing FEA stress analysis and engineering calculations and preparing documentation such as research studies, test procedures, operating instructions, and risk assessments. Involved in several Oil & Gas sector projects such as developing a range of downhole ESP bypass, completion systems, well intervention tools and subsea connectors. Clients include Sellafield Ltd, NNL, Rolls Royce, UKAEA, OneSubsea and Penguin Petroleum.

Designed, installed, and optimised a brand-new brewery, including mechanical design of systems and procedures. Built a system for data management including standard operating procedures. Provided solutions for problems in production and implemented and tested these.

As advanced assistant brewer gained experience in the site 1 cellar. Oil & gas project management skills were considered in being selected to help commission a new 300HL brewery in June 2016. This involved applying current processes to a new system and developing new procedures and improvements as needed. Also worked on the Hop Separator Project and wrote SOP's, trained staff, managed quality and provided information and suggestions on improvements to processes. Mechanical design engineering background has provided insight to develop practical solutions for unique brewing problems from a different perspective. Gained experience across all areas of the brewery and demonstrated ability to make quick and important decisions to ensure production schedules are adhered to and quality is kept at the forefront. Understanding of all aspects of SAP in relation to brewing enabling support to the team with processing completed orders as well as assisting packaging and warehousing. Developed Excel workbooks which assist in stock management for upcoming orders and built a calculator for hop picking and transfers.
