1. Building a Pan‑European Insight Function

In a newly created Associate role, I defined the remit and established the core processes needed to coordinate commercial insight across 10 European markets. I built credibility with Country Heads and local analysts, created shared workflows and improved the quality and consistency of research output. I also organised and hosted the annual European Commercial Research Conference. The result was a recognised pan‑European insight function with strong stakeholder engagement and significantly improved cross‑border collaboration and delivery.

2. Developing the European Commercial Insight Strategy

I developed the commercial insight strategy supporting the region’s 5‑year European growth plan, aligning research goals with senior stakeholders across capital markets, valuation & advisory, occupier services and marketing. The strategy clarified how insight should support client work, act as a door‑opener for fee‑earners and deliver consistent, high‑quality thought leadership across Europe. The result was a unified insight approach that strengthened stakeholder engagement and connected research activity directly to revenue‑generating teams.

Commercial Engagement & External Representation
•Acted as a trusted adviser to senior leadership, regularly presenting to the European Board, major clients and international conference audiences in English and German to support commercial decision making.
•Delivered client roadshows across existing and newly acquired European offices, using the firm’s flagship Active Capital programme to support commercial engagement and strengthen client relationships.
•Strengthened the external profile through regular media engagement, generating seven articles or quotes over a six-month period.
