Leading the delivery of Signage Project as part of the £2 billion Silvertown Tunnel (STT) Programme. Providing Leadership and direction to the team and accountable for defining project parameters, creating project plans, validating business requirements, and establishing the delivery approach from concept design to Project Close out. Project value £10m. Key Responsibilities:

• Developed with System Network/Architects, Telecoms, Data, highways and traffic engineers key project documentation, including Project Initiation Documents (PIDs), Scope of Works (SoW), Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), Business Cases, Contracts, and Reports for STT Signage Programme.

• Collaborated with the commercial team to procure Contractors to deliver the Silvertown Tunnel (STT) Signage programme. Negotiated costs and programme for the Electronic Messaging Signs, Directional and User Charge Signs for Silvertown Tunnel successfully managing interface works by multiple contractors including power and comms at over 100 locations across the road network.

• Delivered strategic oversight on project budget through accurate resource forecasting and cost estimating, ensuring financial control by adeptly tracking expenditures, actuals, cost and resource management, escalating variances, and monitoring the project EFC.

• Strategically managed risk, issues and opportunities, developed mitigation strategies and contingency plans while escalating through project governance process.

• Managed the STT Capital governance process by providing performance report for the project, and project team performance management, development and empowerment through application of company values.

• Managing all aspects of project management throughout the project life cycle; including developing and executing a comprehensive delivery strategy, with clear goals, objectives, and key deliverables.

• Setting project schedules, overseeing project milestones, and proactively mitigating implementation roadblocks to ensure the timely completion of projects within the budget and with quality standards.

• Management of commercial and technical risks and ensuring those risks are identified and mitigated across the project scope of work by controlling the overall project risks, opportunity review and reporting progress.

• Strategically guided and coordinated project teams of 15+ members: executing the project delivery approach, defining project goals, objectives, and key deliverables, while ensuring alignment with the organisation's strategic objectives.

• Spearheaded the adoption and application of Agile methodologies, guiding cross-functional teams to execute projects; led planning sessions, breaking down projects into manageable tasks and sprint goals to drive value delivery.

• Dynamically monitored and managed project triple constraints – budget, timeline, and scope; directed stage gate reviews to eliminate scope creep, budget overruns, and timeline extensions.

• Strategically established operational excellence through the promotion of project management best practices and efficient risk management, resulting in 10-15% reduction in the project delivery timelines.

• Successfully delivered the projects 5 - 20% under budget by evaluating deliverables through detailed reviews at every stage gate and motivating the team to ensure they remained productive throughout the lifecycle.
