Kristian Coburn

I am a Video Producer and run a production company called Darza Productions Ltd, making online commercials and content for a wide range of clients.

My work focusses on people more than products, and I pride myself on great story telling, creating calm and well- organised working environments and beautiful results for my clients.

In the past year I have produced work for The SAND Project, a training college for young people with learning disabilities, and for Aspens, a local charity who work with Autistic children.

I have also produced and directed an award-winning short documentary entitled 'Just Add Water', all about the community of people who swim in the sea off the south coast of England all year round. I planned all aspects of the shoot, including securing funds from the Worthing & Adur Trust and a successful Kickstarter campaign, and I interviewed around fifty individual contributors. I also operated the camera, lights and sound equipment throughout the shoot and edited the film too.

Full video production services for a range of clients, including TrustFord, FedEx, McDonald's, Subway, Airbus, Lidl and Royal Caribbean.

I oversaw production of commercials, corporate videos, online content and marketing films, working with a range of agencies including Good relations, CSM and VCCP, as well as dealing directly with the end clients.

I worked on all aspects of the projects, including creative planning, budget management, contracting, hiring crew, location sourcing, casting, kit hire, organising transport, accommodation and insurance, as well as overseeing post-production to make sure the projects were completed on time, on budget and to the client's specifications.
