Hi!

I'm Liam, a recent Honours graduate from Scotlands top business school studying management & HRM. I chose this path to nurture my plethora of passionate skills within Marketing, business management, research & analysis, IT and communications.

Finalising my studies within the Covid-19 lockdown period. I began to question my work/life/study balance inclusive of many hours stuck behind the wheel to and from work. This led me onto moving into a hybrid remote role within recruiting for the Oil & Gas sector, a fierce industry with some of the most aggressive poaching & advertising techniques that I have come across. My English & persuasion skills put to the test, I quickly found myself attracting huge numbers of clients world wide for available and future positions. I achieved this through tactful prospecting over email and telephone conversations. This rigid industry suffered from even stiffer role advertisements which read as enthusiastically as the Daily Mail on any given Sunday. I personally revised several job descriptions & adverts to reflect the diverse nature of potential candidates and positions with great success, attracting more applicants from diverse backgrounds that have proved their ability within their respective role. This experience led me to the pursuit of remote copywriting / marketing, fuelled by passion and the ability to make content more universally tangible.

I pride myself on my elasticity to complete a broad range of tasks & objectives within tight deadlines, most notably projects that I am a complete new comer to. My style of work focuses upon the end user element of any given project after years of revising poorly designed promotional & policy material that was difficult to view, read and understand.

Projects of interest include B2B, B2C, product, brand & email copywriting, content marketing and SEO.
