I run a training company and sit on boards for the Welsh legal sector, a community interest company working with families who experience domestic abuse as well as a local not for profit that works to engage and educate young people.
I’ve set up businesses and projects in the public, private and third sectors, managing cross organisational and cross sector teams. I’ve led and worked within projects for the Ministry of Justice, further education colleges, professional bodies and individual organisations. These projects have included community outreach, social engagement, policy and strategy writing and review, team building and development, learning and development strategy audit, curriculum design, business start up, qualifications development and lawyer liaison.
I’m highly organised and choose to communicate clearly and thoroughly for the best team work and results.
I originally trained to be a lawyer before falling in love with teaching in my post graduate year and went on to spend 24 years working in education and training and particularly the strategy and leadership of learning. I can offer organisational or team strategy development or audit, review and change recommendation. I can design learning environments and experiences from survey and focus group through design, development and launch. I can contribute to exceptional organisational transformation through the power of learning.
I work on projects that inspire me and where I know I can add value and contribute to incredible results.

Restorative Change are the creators of the evidence based Choices for Change model and service for working with whole families experiencing domestic abuse. In 2015 the Ministry of Justice awarded Restorative Change (then known as DARFA) half a million pounds to spend one year researching and designing a restorative model to work with whole families experiencing domestic abuse. The outcome was a fully manualised system, with the input and expertise of 6 organisations and many hundreds of their staff. The project also created training and methods for working in consortia, healthy relationships training for schools and mapping of service delivery. This resulted in a small pilot and some co-work with social services Integrated Family Services. We are currently publishing our work.
