Mathew Pemberton

I'm Mat — a brand and web designer who's spent the last 16 years running my own studio after a decade inside agencies. I like being the person a client can hand a brief to and trust it'll come back finished, not half-built and passed to someone else.

Most of what I do sits across brand identity, web design (I build in Wix Studio), SEO, and print — with copywriting and a bit of light custom development (Google Apps Script) thrown in when a project needs it. I'm not precious about doing one thing; I'm precious about doing it properly and being easy to work with along the way.

A good chunk of my client relationships have run 10+ years, which says more about how I work than any portfolio piece could — I turn up, I deliver, and I don't disappear once the invoice is paid. Recent work has spanned hospitality, green energy, financial services, and non-profit sectors, for names including Beko, Rhubarb Hospitality, and the English Whisky Guild.
