Hi there my names is Pete. I'm an Engineering graduate with a first class masters degree from The University of Liverpool. My primary experience is within product design and creative direction. I have a passion for working with smaller businesses to develop creative, tangible solutions using my engineering experience.

I graduated in 2020 Masters of Design Engineering and have since developed my skills across various sectors. These include: CAD, coding web design, product design, joinery, 3D printing, manufacturing, stage programming, production development. Since graduating, I have applied my knowledge to not only a number of technical projects, but also production for a range of music festivals and events in both England and Portugal. Since 2021, I have worked as a Creative Director at Gottwood Festival in Anglesey, North Wales, supporting and curating large and intimate stage production projects for over 5,000 attendees.

Currently, I am open to any creative stage and/or product production roles. where I can lend my expertise to the development of music festivals, sustainability events, productions and/or theatre.

From building websites and branding identities to running complete social media strategies, I’ve helped individuals, startups, festivals, and established companies bring their ideas to life—both online and in the real world.

My work spans content creation, video editing, campaign design, and platform management across Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and more. I’ve created and delivered content for creative festivals, social movements, product launches, and personal brands—adapting my style and tools to suit each challenge. I’m also producing my own festival, leading all branding, site development, and promotion.

Above all, I thrive when given creative freedom and collaboration. I listen, experiment, and offer people clear, inspiring directions to choose from—whether they arrive with a big idea or no idea at all. My background in design, engineering, coding, and communication allows me to think laterally and push boundaries while keeping things practical. With a Master’s degree in Industrial Design Engineering and three years of PhD research in Robotics and Design, I’ve developed a strong foundation in creative problem-solving, systems thinking, and technical innovation. My academic journey gave me deep exposure to both the conceptual and practical sides of design, equipping me with a robust skill set in CAD, coding, and a wide range of design and engineering software.

Throughout my studies, I honed the ability to approach challenges from multiple perspectives—balancing aesthetics, usability, and technical feasibility. The integration of robotics into my research deepened my understanding of intelligent systems and automation, and sparked a lasting interest in designing for human–machine interaction.
