I am originally from South Africa and currently based in the UK. I have 15 years of extensive experience in various fields of photography, and credit my father, a professional photographer, as my biggest influence. My career began in my teenage years with my first photographic work as a wedding and studio portrait photographer, followed by a position as a shipboard photographer, and eventually, a writer and photographer for a local fashion magazine.

I am particularly proud of my work as the creative lead and senior photographer for a major South African workwear brand, Jonsson Workwear, where I executed a variety of projects, ranging from e-commerce product shots to on-location photographic marketing campaigns that were featured on billboards and newspapers across the country as well as in all 55 Nationwide stores.

Currently, I operate a freelance business under the name Halliday and undertake client projects while also working on my own personal projects. My current work includes "Swan & Silk," which is an exploration of women, and "8ight," a series featuring strong female characters photographed with classic cars.

My personal style of photography can be described as cinematic & romantic although I am also able to adjust to the specific requirements of each project. I am equally comfortable in a studio or on location and have experience working with various lighting setups. As a photographer, I am always seeking innovative ideas that bring brands and concepts to life, and I am confident in my ability to deliver high-quality imagery that meets the needs of my clients.
