I'm Sam, a highly motivated and skilled Senior Print and Presentation Freelance Designer. I've over 10 years experience working for beauty, food and drinks, corporate, tech, financial and public affairs brands. I've been told i'm speedy, 'unflappable', easy to work with, creative, reliable, on brand and on point. I love getting my teeth into a new project, I have a strong passion to create and i'm a perfectionist so you'll always get 100% commitment from me and work that is of a high level. I worked in-house for a creative agency for over 10 years where I picked up many of my skills including taking projects from concept through to print, coping with huge projects with cross agency teams sending various slides to be created or amended in the master document, managing the whole new business pitch process, teaching and guiding junior members of staff and ensuring all of our work was a coherent, professional, show stopping masterpiece!

For the last two and half years i've been freelancing and enjoying a more relaxed work/life balance which suits me. I like the freedom of working from home or a cafe in the woods and always find this keeps me inspired with what I do.

I worked for Golin for 14 years and have over 10 years experience working within the design team. During that time I must've worked on every new business pitch there was designing the presentation, managing the team and assets internally and externally, handling multiple amends from team members and creating many wonderful assets to go with the deck. Day to day I worked mainly on print design projects ranging from magazines and booklets, posters, invites, logos as well as social posts and the odd mood film or video editing project.

Team Assistant

Before I transitioned into design I was a Team Assistant at Golin. The best part of my job was organising all of our staff parties, quarterly drinks and Christmas parties. I was able to get creative with themes and ideas, always looking for something different to wow staff and boost morale. I always went above and beyond. I was happy to stay at the office till late the night before a Christmas party turning a room into a Grotto or wrapping individual picked presents for staff. Part of that job was working within budgets and researching venues and of course there was some general admin like booking travel, diary management, ordering stationery, office management and updating the staff holiday and sickness calendar.
