I am a British South Asian writer, teacher, and artist from Lancashire, England.
I hold an MA in Cultural Identity and Creative Practice from the University of Bolton, a BA (Hons) in English Literature and Creative Writing from the University of Central Lancashire, and a CELTA from Cambridge, receiving distinctions for my work and contributions
I have a strong base in language, linguistics, philosophy, and art, but my true passion lies in literature. I contribute to the world of literature and possess the ability to creatively draw stories from everything around me.
I am a traditionally published author who has been commended for his work. I have been longlisted and shortlisted for literary prizes, most notably, The Nature Writing Prize (2023) and the Mono Poetry Prize (2023). My work has been supported by Arts Council England, The UK Government, and my local councils and authorities.
I have a strong track record of public engagement involvement and am an active member of numerous community organisations and have been commissioned to produce poetry and short stories for arts and cultural organisations around the globe. I have performed his work on the international stage.
Previously, I worked as a teacher and course coordinator for institutions around the world, including his hometown, where he presently resides, reconnecting to his familial and cultural roots.
Currently, I am the director of**- a writing, tutoring, and coaching service.
