Ankur in a few words
An experienced and adaptable professional, my experience spans several industries and functions to build, integrate, launch and improve digital products. Technically savvy, data driven, customer centric and commercially astute; I have worked on websites, mobile apps, SaaS products and more, serving both B2B and B2C customers.

With a deep financial services background and extensive experience in product and tech, I have scaled and led cross functional teams to deliver meaningful outcomes for the organisations I have worked for. I have a bias towards action and a calm, pragmatic approach in challenging situations.

    • Consolidated and migrated all lead-gen forms on the site from a legacy platform to Marketo, enabling progressive profiling, better gated experiences and improved lead quality and analytics.
    • Led the functional transition to Adobe Workfront, launching the internal ‘content supply chain’ for Marketing and adding to the ‘Adobe-on-Adobe’ showcase for customers.
    • Piloted bespoke user segmentation using real-time customer data (RT-CDP), delivering dynamically targeted and personalised content to assist account progression in the sales pipeline. Created interim personalised content and pages using Adobe Target for high value account progression.
    • Redesigned and launched a new Resource Centre experience that also doubled as a repository for on-demand content, events, webinars, customer education pieces and more.

    • Launched the latest version of Experience Manager (and several other products) while migrating the website to it as well. Digitally hosted major Adobe live events like Summit, Experience Makers, etc.
  • Expedia group
Senior Product Manager | Digital Workplace
    DIGITAL & IT
    November 2022 - March 2023 (4 months)
    London, UK
Responsible for a diverse portfolio of 10+ products, ranging from video conferencing and space booking to digital whiteboarding and event production. Created the backlog and roadmaps for each product while also ensuring good hygiene in Jira.

Centred the team around being data-driven by consolidating vendor data centrally, to enable insights on workplace design, event strategy, and 'return to work' outcomes. Created Jira roadmaps, dashboards and structures to manage team focus and capacity.

Pivoted the team's focus from reactive firefighting to proactive experimentation, establishing test beds in three locations to trial new vendor technology, design better user experiences and influence buying choices for Expedia.

Managed the vendor relationships to influence their roadmaps that ultimately improved Expedia users’ experiences.

Reduced the cost footprint of the function by c.$500k via strategic tool consolidation within the first quarter of joining.

Principal Product Manager | New Digital Products
    DIGITAL & IT
    August 2021 - September 2022 (1 year and 1 month)
    London, UK
Led the development of a new B2B SaaS marketplace platform for BT by successfully challenging the status quo and delivering the product MVP within six months at approximately 20% of the cost quoted by external vendors.

Managed two cross functional development teams of UX/UI designers, product owners and engineers to develop the product.

Built the discover/buy/ pay journey for customers to buy third party apps from the marketplace. Integrated the in-app data into a customisable dashboard to create a single view of the customers business.

Enhanced the dashboard use-case by creating smart nudges so customers can manage their businesses from that single view.

Worked with Product Marketing teams to create the GTM plans while also ensuring Partnerships teams keep building the pipeline of new apps to be integrated within the marketplace.

Kept the BT C-suite informed weekly on progress while occasionally defending product decisions and direction.
