Freelance WFH VFX/CGI generalist; with several years behind me now of memorable projects. I have a particular slant towards fire/smoke simulations via Embergen [key skill], but always happy to take on compositing workloads as well.

I spent a year embedded in the JangaFX / Embergen team; it was a great gig and gave me some really awesome insights into their software, and I made some really nice connections off the back of it.

I've also worked closely with a few UK studios, ranging from simulation and compositing workloads for TV/Advertising, a couple of Features, and a whole load of indie/short film in the UK and US.

Have all my own gear, a decent workstation, and a previous 20 year IT career means I don't need to spend too much time fixing things or getting computers up and running; happy to work across Win/Mac/Linux systems too.
