I've worked at the two largest publishing houses in the country up to Editorial Director level. During this time, I've worked with huge, bestselling brand authors. I've edited their text, thought up impactful book titles, briefed on-brand covers that work for the market, and created publishing plans.

I left to work freelance in 2021. In that time, I've continued editing fiction, but I've also written two novels (the first to be published by Harper Collins in 2024), done some copywriting work and lectured undergraduates at Oxford Brookes.

I have qualifications in proofreading, creative copywriting, and copyediting.

I'm pretty much as close to a word expert as one can be.

I'm here to edit, write, and proofread - or if there is another project that you feel I would be a good fit for, then I'm all ears.

I'm based in Bristol, but am happy to travel.
